I am going to take a different direction with this blog
Originally, I was posting only articles that had to do with my writing. I was writing (MONSTER) at that time, a story book about Richard Ramirez
I've since decided that Ramirez is too much like our current president in terms of child abuse for me to want to write about. Also that Richard Ramirez is generally too dark a subject matter for me to focus on right now. That may surprise you if you've read any other of my work. But I'm 48 now, living a happy life, and while I do think it would be cool to have my novel of Richard Ramirez out there and readable, I don't want to focus on the things he did, really, anymore—so I abandon that project (for now). If I'm ever in a more lonely place, or a place where I have more time I want to spend on writing, I may re approach
For now, I'm loosening my requirement that every post here be about my writing. I'll start by posting a journal entry from today, and will perhaps continue posting reflective posts like this in the near future
